Some wines of our region are:
Côtes du Rhône
The best known appellation of the area is Côtes du Rhône which covers much of the west of Vaucluse.
Luberon
The Luberon appellation from the hills that divide the Durance and Calavon Rivers from L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue through to Apt.
Ventoux
The Ventoux appellation is from between the area of the Luberon in the south and Mont Ventoux to the north.
Vacqueyras
This appellation produces powerful reds. They are often blends of Grenache with Syrah and Mourvèdre.
Gigondas
The Gigondas appellation is North of Carpentras on the western slopes of Dentelles de Montmirail.
Beaumes de Venise
This village appellation comes from just north of Carpentras and a few kilometres to the west of Caromb. It is known for its excellent dessert wines.
